About Us

A cooperative effort resulted in this EMS and EMT online resource for current and prospective EMT's, medical care providers, and other pre-hospital care providers.

The development and maintenance of this recruitment and retention effort is a collaborative venture involving the following four agencies:

Mountain Lakes Regional EMS Council

Albany Medical Center Community Outreach Program

Hudson Mohawk AHEC

Adirondack Rural Health Network

Funding for this website was provided by a New York State Department of Health grant awarded to the Adirondack Rural Health Network (ARHN), in partnership with the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The ARHN is a community partnership of 16 public, private, and non-profit organizations. Its membership includes a critical access hospital, a network of community health centers, five county public health agencies, the regional emergency medical services council, mental health agencies, and others. The ARHN was established in 1992 through a grant award between the Upper Hudson Primary Care Consortium and the New York State Department of Health. The Hudson Mohawk AHEC is funded by the federal department of Health and Human Services, New York's Health Care Reform Act of 2000, and the local community.
